Admission and Assessments

Admission to the McLeod Addictive Disease Center begins with an assessment given by a trained and supportive counselor.  Assessments are on a walk-in basis from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Assessments for clients with Medicaid are conducted until 12:00pm.

Please be sure to bring a photo I.D. to your assessment. If your identification does not indicate you live in Mecklenburg County and you are a Mecklenburg County resident also bring proof of residency (i.e. a utility bill in your name). This information will be used to establish appropriate funding for treatment services.
