SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR II (Dept MC)
Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family counseling. All record keeping as required will be completed in a timely manner. Other activities may be required when in the best interest of McLeod Center.  Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:

BA/BS in related field plus two years’ experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience; or
MA/MS in related field plus one year’s experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience.

MONROE OPEN POSITIONS
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR II (Dept DS)
Functions:

Functions:

HICKORY OPEN POSITIONS
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR II (Dept RR)
Functions:
Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family counseling. CONCORD OPEN POSITIONS
FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR (Dept PE)

Functions:

Responsible for the internal and external communication functions of McLeod Center and acts internally, as a liaison between staff and clients. Acts as initial link to the public for McLeod Center. Responsible for coordinating and completing all administrative and clerical responsibilities necessary to operate the front desk. Additional duties as assigned.

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skill Required:

Bachelors Degree within an appropriate field; or Associates Degree within an appropriate field and two year's experience of reception and administrative duties; or High school or equivalent and three years experience of reception and administrative duties.  Effective skills in typing, filing, computers, computer software, and verbal communications with clients and peers. 

BOONE OPEN POSITIONS
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELORS (Dept EM)
Functions:
For Counselor I: Entry level position, which shall be clinically supervised by a qualified alcohol and drug professional or certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor. The Counselor I will participate in the following activities upon becoming privileged by McLeod Center: clinical lectures, group counseling and assessment. Supervisor will monitor clinical functions and record maintenance activities.  Other duties as assigned.

For Counselor II: Upon privileging by McLeod Center, performs all clinical functions for which qualified, including: clinical lectures, group therapy, assessments, family counseling. All record keeping as required will be completed in a timely manner. Other activities may be required when in the best interest of McLeod Center.  Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Training, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Required:

Counselor I: BA/BS in unrelated field; or AA/AS in related field; or High School/GED plus one year of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience.

Counselor II: BA/BS in related field plus two years’ experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience; or MA/MS in related field plus one year’s experience of paid supervised substance abuse counseling experience
